About Davis Auto Body
Established in 1956, Davis Auto Body has been a cornerstone of the Crestline community for over 65 years. Originally founded by Dick Davis and later managed by his son Keith, the business was purchased in 2004 by long-time mountain residents Joe and Shelly Black, along with their partner Jose Arce.
Our Philosophy
We believe that running a mountain business is about more than just repairs—it’s about earning the trust of our neighbors. We treat our clients like family, focusing on building long-term relationships through honest work and personal service. Unlike many corporate shops, we prioritize our local customer base over high-volume insurance contracts, ensuring that every vehicle gets the dedicated attention it deserves.
Our Expertise
With over 35 years of experience in the industry, our team specializes in a wide range of services:
-
Collision Repair: Expert bodywork to restore your vehicle after an accident.
-
Suspension & Alignments: Specialized mountain-driving repairs to handle the wear and tear of local roads.
-
Mechanical Work: Essential maintenance to keep your car running safely.
-
Refinish & Paint: We utilize advanced color-matching technology with a database of over 60,000 shades to ensure a seamless, factory-quality finish on every vehicle.
Whether you are navigating an insurance claim or paying out-of-pocket, we are here to guide you through the process. We pride ourselves on the precision and dedication applied to every repair that leaves our shop. Most importantly, we value the relationship that begins with you the moment you walk into our lobby.
